HSC SERIES

This series of work I created for my HSC. The drawings were done on marine plywood and the majority of flowers and butterflies were created using the decoupage technique. The middle portrait was done with graphite pencils over the top of a white gesso base coat. The work represents the 5 stages of grief and how many people who deal with grief or loss mask it for the world but behind closed doors, everything crumbles.
